Fund stabilization
We provide the immediate capital to stabilize Coaster so she stops deteriorating and is safe to move.
- Emergency funding
- Shore up the hull
- Prevent further loss
The Restoration
As a business accelerator, our job is to move quickly on the steps that make a full restoration possible: fund stabilization, relocate Coaster for evaluation, and build the 501(c)(3) that will rebuild her. Here is how that works.

We provide the immediate capital to stabilize Coaster so she stops deteriorating and is safe to move.
We move Coaster to a proper facility where shipwrights can survey her and scope the full restoration.
We stand up the nonprofit, board, and funding structure that will own and restore Coaster for the long term.
We transition Coaster to the 501(c)(3) that will complete her restoration and return her to the Chesapeake fleet.
The plan
The Trillium Group, Inc funds immediate stabilization so Coaster stops deteriorating and can be safely moved.
We move her to a facility where shipwrights can complete a full survey and scope the restoration.
We stand up the nonprofit, board, and funding that will own and carry out the restoration.
The 501(c)(3) completes the restoration and returns Coaster to the Chesapeake fleet that harvests oysters under sail.
The rescue moves at the speed of support. Help fund the stabilization and relocation that make Coaster's restoration possible.
